The media absolutely does care. They consider it justified. They just love reporting on a civil war where only *their* side is inflicting most of the harm.

No, the media doesn’t. But where are the feds? Where are the federal prosecutions from the US Department of Justice for “civil rights intimidation” and other such charges against violent leftists? We’ve seen several against far-right groups, but why are the leftists being protected by a Republican administration and a Republican FBI/DOJ/etc.?

I believe your risk levels elevate exponentially. I think a Trump hat in public in Chicago is a homicide risk. And in at least half the city your life will indeed be measured in minutes, especially if you are white.
