This article brings 2 points home to me. First, according to this article, playing professional football will be akin to coal mining-—it has a large potential for bodily harm. So poor folks with limited other options will play pro football as an attempt to grab the brass ring and get out of poverty, to entertain black and white viewers both, while whites will opt for soccer and less dangerous sports. There are far less college scholarships (if any) for soccer than football, but less potential for permanent brain or other injury. Second, if football teams are comprised of even more black players, you can expect more of this kneeling nonsense, showing them to be total ingrates for the chance they got to make millions in this country. I would expect even more viewers to cross off NFL game attendance or watching on TV. Revenues would then fall. Would scholarships then be reduced in quantity or amount paid? So the blacks who think they’re so cool to force their perceived “injustices” on audiences during working time will in effect kill the goose who lays the golden eggs, reducing their own revenue and future opportunities for kids such as in this article (notice the different last names and the absence of any father(s) mentioned). Real smart!

Yep, I doubt black folk would take to basketball... ;-)

Plus, we all know there are no poor white folk.

The article is absurd, really.
