If the video at the link above doesn’t have you alternating between FURIOUS & REASSURED, watch in again until FURIOUS wins.
WHY? Because the centuries old struggle between freedom and slavery, liberty and domination...GOOD vs EVIL has VISIBLY surfaced right here in America in our lifetimes. And that BATTLE will require that EVERY citizen who cares about those things burn with a FURY deep and strong enough to see the battle through to victory.
Let that fury move you to join the battle by, at the very least, spreading this information to as many others as you can. Yes, it’s frustrating as you will meet far too many who are either clearly on the other side, can’t be bothered or simply don’t care. I’ve met hundreds in my 40+ years of doing what little I can to preserve for MY progeny the freedoms I knew in my early life.
Let me close with the wise words of Judge Learned Hand:
“Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; if it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it.” Judge Learned Hand, 1944
(While not a household name, Judge Hand is the jurist most often cited by OTHER judges. You don’t know that because very powerful people don’t WANT YOU TO!)
(If you’re short on time, put the audio on in the background while doing other stuff. But know that if you do that, you’ll miss some very interesting & informative graphics in his presentation.)
Mr. Jefferson wrote a few words on the topic as well:
We have the greatest opportunity the world has ever seen, as long
as we remain honest which will be as long as we can keep the
attention of our people alive. If they once become inattentive to
public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and
governors would all become wolves.
Thomas Jefferson to Edward Carrington, 1787. ME 6:58
(We have met the enemy and he is US! Now you know HOW WE GOT HERE!)
Wonderful quote.
As I understand it, the oft-quoted phrase, "We have met the enemy and he is us" actually originated somewhere long ago as, "We have met the enemy and he is WITH us", much closer to our current situation.
What we face is what Cicero said about the enemy within, only today's version is the Left:
A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. Marcus Tullius Cicero, from a speech given to the Roman Senate, recorded in approximately 42 B.C. by Sallust. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague.
I'm glad to hear from someone who has not been lulled to sleep by so much apathy and carelessness around us.
May God help us to win this battle for souls and for the restoration of our Free Constitutional Republic. As in 1776, we will need the God of miracles to win but as he did for America then, I believe he will do again now - and Trump is the first sign of that happening.
God bless.
