Key provisions of the Feinstein Gun Ban: The bill bans the sale, manufacture, transfer and importation of 205 military-style assault weapons by name, but it does say existing owners may keep existing weapons.
Any assault weapon that accepts a detachable ammunition magazine, has one or more military characteristics (including a pistol grip, a forward grip, a barrel shroud, a threaded barrel or a folding or telescoping stock) will be banned. Owners may keep existing weapons.
Magazines and “ammunition feeding devices” that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition, which allow shooters to quickly fire many rounds without needing to reload will be banned.
Owners with existing magazines may keep them.
What Guns Aren’t Included In The 2019 Gun Ban? The bill exempts by name more than 2,200 guns for hunting, household defense or recreational purposes. All currently owned guns are grand fathered… just no new ones.
How Will The Gun Ban Affect Sales, Trades and Gifts of Guns? All future sales, trades or gifting of guns will require a background check in order to be legal. In effect…this is a national gun registry.
All grandfathered assault weapons must be stored using a secure gun storage or safety device like a trigger lock.
It will be illegal to transfer high-capacity ammunition magazines.
Bump stocks and any other devices that allow semi-automatics to fire like automatics will also be illegal.
Provisions That Were Kept From The 2017 Gun Ban Folding stocks that are “otherwise foldable or adjustable in a manner that operates to reduce the length, size, or any other dimension, or otherwise enhances the conceal-ability of a firearm.” will also be banned.
Pistols must now weigh under 50 ounces when unloaded, a policy included in the original 1994 ban. This effectively makes all AR style pistols illegal.
Bans assault pistol stabilizing braces that transform assault pistols into assault rifles by allowing the shooter to shoulder the weapon and fire more accurately.
Bans Thordsen-type grips and stocks that are designed to evade a ban on assault weapons.

Aw, how sweet. In her little fantasy she's going to let us keep some firearms she deems not too scary - or effective. For now. Make no mistake, any kind of ban like this will have zero effect on actual crime rates. So of course in a few years they'll come back and say "Sadly, sacrificing more freedoms and rights are required...for your safety...for the children!" How about no. No, how about h**l no!

Eff that, how am I supposed to bring it into use to defend my home against a home invasion by multiple criminals? Not a paranoid fantasy, this has happened in my area multiple times. We live in a moderately affluent rural area and a criminal element from a neighboring urban area has literally been "commuting to work" here. A number of arrests made in crimes in this area come from the urban area about 1 hr away...including a number of kids/teens brought along because as minors they won't get a criminal record. It is disgusting, and someone is going to get killed sooner rather than later. I would prefer it not be my kids, my wife, myself, my neighbor...
This kind of sweeping ban had better be DOA on the floor. If it looks like it will pass, I'll simply stock up and refuse to comply. You wanna go Di? Ok, I'm ready, let's go.

I’m in no way anti Semitic, but the damage done by jews in name only in this country is absolutely astounding. ACLU, Feinstein, Soros, Schumer, etc.

Even if Trump signs this, I will NOT comply, and nor will MILLIONS of the rest of us who have stashes of AR-15 parts. We WILL manufacture those rifles and use them, despite this unconstitutional law. Not that I think it has a snowball’s chance in Hell of getting through the Senate.
