Actually, anyone can run under any party name. The Republicans didn’t want David Duke to run under their banner. He did anyway. The Democrats didn’t want Bernie to run under their banner either. He did anyway. AOC is accelerating the Dems transformation from a powerful organization to a footnote in history.
