good morning.
You have mentioned several times you tutor... once a week? what age/subjects
NOSY curiosity - volunteer or paid? I have a few friends who tutor and some paid & some volunteer. The volunteers are usually taken for granted and the kids don’t work as hard as the ones whose parents pay - their(tutors) observations
Got a gift certificate for a pedicure which I used on Tuesday. My first ever and really enjoyed it. My feet/toes are not attractive. My mom had gorgeous hands and feet. I took after dads.. squatty and ugly! LOL
Interesting thing is there is the massage chair you sit in which I also liked until it hit ONE AREA. Next day/yesterday at chiropractor inquired and he mentioned it was the collapsed vertebral disc (one of several). My back is a super mess with arthritis, osteoporosis, stenosis, vertebras stress factors and several collapsed discs. If it weren’t for my chiropractor a am sure Id be an invalid. He also worked on my wrists and elbows
Plugging along here. Have some question as to the reliability of my van for any trip. Have an invite to spend some time in southern USA. Mechanic has serious doubts. Need to weigh all this info. Nothing worse than being stranded in middle of nowhere with minimal money and a pup in winter.
Recent job house setting fell through.. granddaughter will be dropping out of college (pregnant) and will be staying in home and watching dogs while grands are in the caribbean for 4 months Jan - first May
bummer. It was a sweet deal.
Good morning to you.
About my tutoring, it’s volunteer, a program in our local elem. school that helps children with their reading and it is working, I see progress.
I work with the same group of 2nd graders once a week but this program is everyday so they get help each day.
So sorry your house sitting job didn’t pan out, will pray you get a better offer.
Seems like you can’t get a break lately. Prayers that something works out for you soon.
