Executive order for SPACE COMMAND coming this week. Huge.
This combatant command will oversee Space Ops and does NOT require congressional approval. — Jordan Sather (@Jordan_Sather_) December 17, 2018
Big step towards the Space Force. (Or was the Space Force a step towards this?)#SpaceCommandhttps://t.co/wYaRTp0iwg
I nominate Mark Warner for a 1-way ticket on the next space force craft exiting the planet.
If we needed congressional approval nothing would ever get done.
My ex boss loved to have managers meetings and discuss EVERYTHING. Then they would set up committees to research and investigate, then meet again to make a proposal. I couldn’t work like that, besides, in my position there was no room for discussion as I had to follow the law, and I had deadlines. (For most things. One time I had to turn in a ticket design in a hurry. I drew it up, showed it to the boss, and told him if anyone asked the committee came up with it.) Anyway, I used to tell my boss that if the managers were in charge of the Lewis and Clark expedition we’d be speaking French now.
I can only imagine how frustrated President Trump gets, working in government, which is worse than the managers I used to deal with.
