wow.. I am such a dinosaur with these new techie things.

Really hit home a few weeks ago. I took a couple hour day trip to Amish country (Lehmans’) with my friend Jim. My van is 2002. I have not have a vehicle that is newer. It is considered a very nice van but it is very old by todays standards. It has a FOB, DVD player (never used) and some things on dash I am not sure what they are and really don’t care.

I was in awe with all the bells and whistles on Jims 2019 Buick.. Tried to keep my jaw up in regular place although I was jaw dropped for sure.

That door with the chip sounds great

Technology changes awful fast. Are 2017 Prius does all sorts of cool things, like parallel park on its own, it has little lights in the side mirrors in case someone is in the blind spot, it beeps if you get close to anyting on all four sides, the cruise control will follow the car in front of you at a preset distance Dash This one is probably the most handy. Just lots of cool safety features. And apparently it won’t let you run into anything from the front or back. We have tried to figure out how to test this, but don’t want to risk damaging the car. Maybe a hay bale.
