A report by John Solomon of The Hill indicates that documents providing the most damning evidence to date of FISA abuses under Barack Obama have been requested for declassification by House Republicans.
The documents include email exchanges between former FBI Director James Comey, investigators in the Russia probe and lawyers in the Department of Justice national security division.
According to Solomon, the email conversations occurred prior to the FBI successfully securing a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, and demonstrate the intelligence community had lingering doubts about the reliability of the infamous Steele dossier.
That dossier was a key to obtaining the warrant.
Sources tell me the email chain provides the most direct evidence that the bureau, and possibly the DOJ, had reasons to doubt the Steele dossier before the FISA warrant was secured, Solomon wrote.

And yet, only 5% of the U.S. will hear about it.
The quality of an elected government will never exceed the quality of the press.
What, no confidence in the Senate? Me neither.
I still want to know if the judge was told that the warrant could/would be used to spy on the whole Trump campaign????
HRC had all that intel about Trump and still lost. LOL
No flame from me.
I agree with you.
POTUS needs to dump it all on the table for the USA to see. Nunes has begged him to release docs time and time again but Rosenstein is still leading the President around by his nose - convincing him that to release anything would be obstruction of Justice.
Let the chips fall where they may. Release the docs. At least we will know the truth.
What will FBI director and the TEMP AG do about it?
Wake me when they slap the cuffs on the *itch.
Comey, as the man in charge of one of the biggest cases in political history, sure turned out to a big doofus.
200 times he either said, I don’t know, I don’t remember, or I don’t recall.
His termination was justified.
