Maureen Dowd has a similar essay. She poses the same answers, then is puzzled what the Clintons are so tone deaf to has been status and the appearance of grotesque greed they evoke. Dowd writes of their manifolds faults, but somehow just feels sorry for them. Dowd still can’t get it that they are empty vessels of bad ideas, ego, greed, narcissism, manipulation, corruption, and criminality — and they always were.
