Dowd writes of their manifolds faults, but somehow just feels sorry for them. Dowd still can’t get it that they are empty vessels of bad ideas, ego, greed, narcissism, manipulation, corruption, and criminality — and they always were.

Years ago, Dick Morris wrote that Bill Clinton was like a solar-operated calculator. In the glow of public adulation, Bill comes alive (Hillary not so much).
