Folks, if they get that, it is all over - you'll see the 1st and 2nd Amendments reduced to mere shadows of their former selves, along with any other measures necessary to cement their grip on power. They mean to obtain power and, once they've accomplished that, to NEVER relinquish it again. The next 2 years, up to and including the Presidential election, are truly for all of the marbles. If our side wins, we have more breathing room; if we lose, we end up like the Whites in Russia after the Revolution - dead, imprisoned or largely serfs of the State.
I'd love to hear anyone's take on the main message in the above article - not so much on who will be the Dem nominee in 2020, though if y'all want to speculate, go right ahead.
FWIW, and I hope and pray that I’m wrong (and maybe a bit paranoid), I can easily see either Rush or Hannity being assassinated by someone on the Left. If “they” can pull off getting some drugged-up nutcase to do a school shooting, how hard would it be to steer that person toward one particular person who doesn’t have the benefit of Secret Service protection?
ANOTHER one of these articles and more doom and gloom.
How about posting what you plan to DO about it, ANYONE?
Haven’t seen ONE yet?
I thought this board was full of ex army etc.
Would you guys just talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about HOW BRUTAL the enemy is without EVER giving One Idea of the best way to approach the situation?
Wow.
A lot of partisan “ Sturm und Dranng “ occasionally entertaining, mostly disheartening & frustrating if you care for the country. The good news is it likely means stalemate for all things other then USSC & federal courts. (Which is not insignificant!). There will be continued progress there.
I hear you. But I think there’s concerns, as to what we can do, in the minority position. For example, they are ready to launch 85 subpoenas and launch various investigations, and there’s not a thing the GOP minority can do to stop them.
America papers over its vast political differences and vast differences over demands of government with massive spending and debt.
What can we expect? More destruction of our currency and more debt.

On the Dem side Bloomberg might be the best choice. But of course he would not be nominated.
Think how many millions of utterly moronic females went out Nov 2018 and voted against their own financial and security interests just because voting for the rabidly lying Leftist clown candidate made them "feel good"
Look at the election map. 2020 is going to be impossible for Trump unless the Dems nominate a thoroughly unlikable, demonstrably corrupt candidate again. Anyone even marginally charismatic can rely on these millions of moron voters to vote for the Marxist clown show. All because their stupid day time television, and poltical manipulated social media outlets, tells them "it is hip and trendy" to be a Left wing activist.
The ‘gun safety confiscation laws’ are the shot across the bow. One death has already occurred, what will you do if the left gets the opportunity to assess ALL gun-owners as a ‘risk’ and attempts confiscation?
“For example, they are ready to launch 85 subpoenas and launch various investigations, and theres not a thing the GOP minority can do to stop them.”
Just ignore them like the democrats do.
Wanna stop the rats? The 2020 election started on the 7th.
We need to beat them at their own game and they have a hell of a head start on us
I don’t agree on Bloomberg being candidate 2020 and I don’t thoroughly agree that in 2006, overt preps were being made for a Marxist 0bama. I don’t think that all that many knew quite how radical he was going to be, although, perhaps the DNC leadership did. I could be wrong. I believe he was viewed more as “utopian”. I think he was viewed as “the first Black pres” novelty that none of the boring likes of Yeb, Kasich et al could defeat. Again, perhaps I am splitting hairs.
In brief summary, I considered how much of the posted article is exaggeration and how much of it is probably accurate. I think it’s only about 20% exaggerated. Which is pretty accurate.
If there are any real plans involving outside the present legal system actions, a big if, they wouldn’t be posted on an open forum.
What you are going to see is a bunch of Democrats showing their azz and accomplishing zippo.
“I’d love to hear anyone’s take on the main message in the above article”
Boring and pompous.

“In my opinion few reading this have any idea just how bad these next two years are going to be”.
I have to agree with Sundance on this one. The worst is still to come. Rush/Hannity talked a bit about this today.
We are moving into violent times in the next 2 years.
You could not be more blatant and provocative: You specifically identify “ex army” (i.e., former military, veterans, etc.) to stop talking, talking, talking, and DO something. That necessarily suggests you are trying to get someone who is familiar with military weapons and tactics to forego dialogue and move into in some kind of violent altercation. No one is going to take your bait.
