A silly joke of a reform...

++++

“Even if you legally own a gun, you are restricted to a total of 50 cartridges per year.

Reforms would make guns much easier to own, carry, and use for self defense. Up to 100 rounds of ammunition per year, per gun, would be allowed.”

Doubling the number of cartridges per gun is not a joke.

While not in this article, there are several other reforms likely to pass.

Doing away with the police ability to deny the right to have a gun, is not a joke.

Making it allowable to carry a gun for self defense is not a joke.

Reducing the minimum age to own a gun from 25 to 21 is not a joke.

These are large reforms in Brazil. If I were living under their current restrictions, I would be very pleased to see this much reform.

As these reforms succeed, I expect more to be added.

I would not call them a joke.

That's one of the "big reforms"?

I was hoping for something with more meat on it.

AFAIK, a guy can do better in just about any other country in South America.
