We always buy a years worth of candy corn when it goes 50% off. Just cracked open the last bag over the weekend.
I also buy a dozen or so fruitcakes too.
That reminds me, it’s my turn for the fruitcake. my brother and I have exchanged the same fruitcake for 30 years. It’s all in the wrapping.
I’m thinking a few rolls of window flashing tape. Very hard to cut rubber.
There is a huge fruitcake “bakery”, Collin St. Bakery, in Corsicana, Texas. I maintain that they have not baked a new cake in years. It’s simply a re-cycle center. You send one back and they sent it to a different customer.
