I heard Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Never Trumper, spouting off this morning.
Are we sure of his vote?

Yep........Flake’s going to go with the party that secures his work after he leaves office. By voting nay he agrees with Shulmer and Feinsteins speech today....and they’ll make certain he’s gainfully employed after he leaves....and still save face it was right to have an extended FBI investigation as he required.

Manchin and Donnelly wil definitely vote aye. The red state dem. women may vote no on principle (metoo) but the men will vote aye.
Prediction: Minimum 54 Aye

51 for Kavanaugh. Call me pessimistic, but I think the Dems will use all possible bribery and blackmail.

50-50 with Pence breaking the tie. Some red dims will vote yes to free up the disloyal three to vote no.

“50-50 tie with Pence as the tie breaker.”
That’s what I think.

With Daines saying no due to a wedding, I wonder if we really have the votes now?

Looks like we’re losing the leaners (Heitkamp, Flakey). Upchuck is going whip the other ‘Rats in line, so Manchin and Donnelly may be goners. We’re going to need Murk and Collins just to get to Pence’s vote. Daines sure as hell better be there to vote. We’re not going to lose this because of a no-show. That will be the end of it if we do.
