“My first lawyer advised not to ask for DNA because the judge would look poorly on it as an attempt to avoid ‘responsibility’.
I fired him.
And, yes, the judge took me to task for asking for DNA.”
Judges are idiots as are half of all lawyers.
FYI, I am a lawyer
That said, my ex-wife accused me of pointing a gun to my older daughter’s head, accused me of physically abusing her, etc. during a divorce.
I tend to take women’s accusations with a LOT of skepticism.

True. Time to dig up all the stuff ex-wives ever said about a Democrat.
You know, because women never lie.
Thank you. Anyone else?
Fortunately for my husband, his ex-wife was an alcoholic and got drunk and accidentally warned him that she was planning to accuse him of sexual impropriety with his young daughter.
He contacted his lawyer and was advised not to let her take the child to the doctor during one of his visitations. Sure enough, during a visitation the ex called to let my husband know that she would be picking the daughter up for a doctor’s appt. If she had not accidentally warned him, she would have been able to set him up and he would have probably gone to prison. Disgusting.
