I had another interesting experience. I had a female soccer coats here from a nearby prominent University that if I posted the name you would all know it (our 2nd president was an alumnus). She had been married for a few years and was a bit past her prime as an athlete. She came in complaining of depression. Not too bad, no suicide or whatever, just Generalized Anxiety type. She wanted my advice, she said, but didnt want to take medication. I spent a good 45 minutes talking to her on 5 separate visits. We talked about everything I could think of in regard to non prescription treatment of depression and on each occasion she insisted she did not want to take medication. Finally on the 6th visit after talking for an hour I decided to share my testimony. The ONLY time in 35 years I did that. Turns out she was part of a group of rabid feminists who enjoy harassing Christian Professionals and shes reported me to the State Board for Evangelizing in my office. As God is my Witness. These are the ONLY two problems I had in 35 years. That one I laughed off. Being accused for HIM was an HONOR.
Well, that’s what you get for helping your patients.
You should know better.
(Yes, bitter sarcasm. That’s my mood today.)
