Bottom line is that this is stupid. Nothing rises to that level and, besides, if there needs to be an investigation that is what local law enforcement is for. She needs to file a police report.

Yes it would make a difference. There would be delays and leeks and the WP plus the NYT would put out the half true stories without sources. And FBI investigation is just a political stall tactic. Remember much of the DC based FBI are hard core democrats.

Each interview should take about five minutes.

The question they need to ask is- "Is the statement you submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee under penalty of felony accurate, and still your testimony?"

When they say, "yes" it seems to be that's about the end of it.

Turn in those interview reports, and there is your FBI investigation.
