Either that or he's finally released from McCain's blackmail. Seems his turnaround started right after the funeral. A little too coincidental. We'll know for sure if this is a permanent state of affairs if / when he comes around on the border wall and immigration in general. Until then, I'm skeptical. But as far today goes, he deserves a hearty BRAVO!
Toward the end of the Clarence Thomas hesrings (or maybe it was the Robert Bork hearings), the democrats put on a panel of three or four women law professors. The Republicans on the Judiciary Committee were not particularly interested in what they had to say and when it was Strom Thurmond’s turn, he said something like, “I do not have any questions for these ladies. I just want to say we didn’t have pretty teachers like you when I was in school.”
