All this seems to be is a fever-pitch hysteria surrounding women who may or may not have crossed paths with or shared social circles with Kavanaugh to convince them to say anything that MAY somehow, someway, have involved him, even if in the most tenuous or salacious of ways
If it was 40 years ago, these women would have been chewed up and spit out, both by the media, and by investigation hearing, but in today’s climate, you are not supposed to “bully” victims, so these people feel enabled and empowered to make the most ridiculously tenuous claims without fear of being seriously cross examined
