An interesting comment from one of the posters there:
“See how Reddit just shifted the timestamp on this post to say 6 hours ago, even though it was a few mins (it’s actually between a 5 min old post and 2 min old post). This server/timestamp shift is one way they manage/bury posts, and put them into an ether between the NEW/HOT list where no one finds them.”
A tactic I was not aware of.
