Pretty sure the framers of the Constitution allowed for their Ambassadors to other countries having a child born outside the US but still a natural born citizen (not dual citizenship) as long as both parents were American citizens at the time.
It’s not so much about where they were born which makes them natural born Americans; it’s who their parents were. In BHO’s case he only had one American parent; a flaky communist mother. The father is still a debatable subject but he wasn’t American.
One thing is for sure; either Congress or the Supreme Court needs to definitively define what it means to be a natural born citizen for the purpose of being qualified to run for the Presidency.
