Your grilled tuna salad with melted cheese sounds yummy. Mayo and tuna are heavenly.
You might want to try this no-mayo Thai Tuna Salad.....from an accomplished caterer.

Thai Tuna Salad
Mix canned tuna, thin-sliced red onion, gingeroot, red-pepper flakes, lots of lime juice, cilantro, olive oil, s/p.
Toss in a few chp peanuts. SERVE w/ rice crackers.

Get a pouch of Starkist White Albacore packed in water. Cut open the pouch, slide the tuna onto a slice of toast. Spread mayo over it, put a slide of provolone on it and nuke for 30 seconds. There is your tuna melt.

Been doing this for 20 years.
