Yep, Disney was REQUIRED viewing. You just didn’t miss it.
In CA, we had Shakey’s pizza. They showed old movies, like Tom Mix, and you ate pretty good pizza. Wasn’t the best, but the movies were cool. Sometimes you got Three Stooges or Little Rascals.
In my area on Friday nights on the UHF channel we could get one of the following:
Roller Derby
World Class Wrasslin’
Friday Night Frights (some lame horror flick)
And I kid you not we could also get Bullfights from Madrid. You could watch a real live bullfight to the death (usually the bull’s death but not always) in black and white as you ate popcorn in your footed jammies and think nothing of it.
Oh the humanity.
