Fifty million deer hunters aren't an army, or even an organized guerilla force.

"Quantity has it's own quality."

Stalin's "quantity" was an organized, trained regular army with a defined chain of command, with support and logistics.

If fifty million deer hunters want to be an effective "quantity", they should start organizing themselves before TSHTF.

Imagine thousands or even millions of deer hunters deployed in the woods & wilderness and equipped for survival.

Example: I-40 in Middle Tennessee mostly passes through heavily wooded mountains. Roadway overwatch is total. The interstate system was intended for use by military convoys.

How can convoys, armored or not, proceed through a gauntlet of rifle fire from a nearly invisible and dispersed adversary? Sure, send in the Warthogs and Apaches, what will they shoot at?

Surveillance drones? Why is it a Federal crime to shoot at one even if it’s over your own property? Drones aren’t invulnerable but the Feds want them to be legally, even though IT techniques to bring them down are proliferating. Will drones be the eyes of the central government?

As noted, an interesting discussion that needs to continue.
