The left controls the information... didn’t work to well when Trump was elected and it’s obviously minor since everything they say is a lie to begin with.

Minorities would unquestionably take the cities and whites would hold the country. Skirmishes would then take place in the burbs, with minorities doing damage to the inner burbs and whites holding the exurbs and outer burbs.

Hard to imagine any type of sustained civil unrest while the poorest people are the most likely to be obese and are used to smart phones and air conditioning. You’d think if things were that desperate we would be seeing massive voter turnouts before anyone choose to undergo the hardship that would come from widespread sustained civil unrest.

Doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen, but it would be the first time while those conditions persist. Maybe if the internet gets turned off you would have waves of rotund zombies lumbering around howling for their smartphones to turn back on. I tend to think everyone is too comfortable to choose to risk it, at least for now. I also think the internet tends to magnify discontent and fools folks into overestimating the number of people who care about the same things they do.

So you want to fight a guerilla war?

Learn from the master.

And keep this in mind:

Prior to the "American Revolution", we had a reasonably well organized militia system in the colonies. Even so, building a regular army was key to success. We do not have a militia system at all, today.

The Viet Cong, the Taliban, ISIS, Sendero Luminoso, Pathet Lao, and EVERY other "successful" guerilla force was or is organized and trained, with a command structure, support, and logistics. All or almost all have or had outside State support. And the Viet Cong did not defeat the USA and conquer South Viet Nam. That was done by the Peoples Army of Viet Nam ... a large regular Army supported by the USSR ... after the USA abandoned South Viet Nam.

Even the American Revolution was supported from the outside. From Lafayette to de Grasse, we received vital support from France.

Fifty million deer hunters aren't an army, or even an organized guerilla force.

I seriously don’t think there will be an all-out Civil War. There will be the continuing drumbeat of the Socialists undermining our Representative Republic any way they can, but since we’re so familiar with their Alinsky-style playbook, we’re better armed to thwart them at it, now.

And we FINALLY have a President that’s on our side. He’s on ALL sides, but the hard-core Socialists won’t admit it, yet.

#Walkaway

Secondly, there will be problems in our major cities, so get the hell OUT as soon as you can!

Having read the thread, some random thoughts:
1. Historically speaking the “civil” war took a while to birth.
2. In Congress prior to the “civil” war, Congressmen began to openly fight with each other, not talking fights, actual fists, canings, etc.. To historians, this became a signal to a larger split. Might want to watch for that, what is past is prologue.

3.Given my military experience, I would have to say that amatures talk tactics, professionals talk logistics. It takes roughly 10 people to support one war fighter. The supply tail is key, once interrupted in the slightest, it changes everything.

Commiefa’s attempting to make it look like “small amounts of violence” are wide spread. It’s NOT true.

More psy-ops tricks Democrats leaned from Communists. Like ‘triangle sistting in large rooms, drum circles (to give the impression of high energy and ‘close in pictures’ of 20 protesters to make them look like a hundred people.

Don’t fall for it.... Dems and the sh*ts in the press who push their BS are liars. They WANT violence... We demean them by laughing at their antics.

Commiefa sh*t...

There won’t be a civil war unless the economy collapses. Then its all bets off. Right now people are too comfortable to revolt.

Hopefully civil war will not come about.

If it does it be a very short, very violent and very bloody and deadly civil war for the left wingers in America.

In the meantime the snowflake left wingers can't even decide what sex they are and what bathrooms to use!

They need to study history to see what happened to the most powerful country in world, when it tried to take our guns away in 1776 and 1812 and declared war against us.

That country has been on a steady decline in power since 1815.*

*The War of 1812 lasted from June 1812-February 1815, a span of two years and eight months.

Democrats who own guns never shoot them and don’t know how - couldn’t hit any target, probably don’t know how to change magazines or reload a shotgun or revolver.......

Former Navy SEAL Craig ‘Sawman’ Sawyer warns of ‘gruesome massacre’ if Trump removed from office!

By Joe Newby - August 5, 2017 Excerpted:

“I’m hearing serious rumblings of a hostile, illegal coup against our democratically elected President by seditious, deep-state subversives funded by Soros & other globalists. Very disturbing,” he wrote, adding:

Patriots, this would be nothing less than an act of war against the American people. It would be the removal of our boldest defender & last possibility of maintaining our protective Constitution. Under the boot of globalists, life as we know it, would immediately decline to the model that suits the globalist interest – Marxist/Socialist/Communist. They get complete control, you get zero. Freedom, Gone! Liberty, Gone! This agenda is evil and simply cannot be allowed, at ANY cost.

Like ALL military, law enforcement and government officials, I took an oath to defend our Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. By abandoning the rule of law and conducting a coup against the President & policies WE THE PEOPLE elected, they have made themselves enemies of the United States.

After observing that all patriots, regardless of position, have a duty to protect the Constitution, Sawyer minced no words detailing what he believes would happen to those involved in Trump’s removal and he explained why:

Anti-American subversives involved in ANY WAY in an unconstitutional coup against our President will be run down and executed immediately by the world’s most supreme warriors. There will be nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide, no mercy, no sense of humor. Harsh examples will be made.

My prediction is it will be a gruesome massacre. Why? Because one side in this conflict has 8 Trillion bullets & the other side doesn’t know which bathroom to use.

To get back to the original question, and away from the speculative arguments over loyalty of the various current government agencies, the side which would have the advantage if the political conflict became open warfare would be the side that first decided that it was time to stop working within the system and time to start shooting the bastards. But only if they decided this well ahead of time, and started organizing. Collecting arms and ammunition. Setting up units, training the men to work together, establishing lines of communication and chains of command. Identifying friends and enemies, and locating and keeping track of them. Getting together transportation and logistics, and preparing to interfere with the other side’s Quartermaster and Ordinance arrangements. This what the patriots’ Committees of Correspondence, the Sons of Liberty, and the Minute Companies were all about in 1775, and what the British Army set out to disrupt and destroy on the 18th of April. But they were too late, and they failed. Mind you, they were *almost* successful, and they retained major advantages over the Colonial/Continental forces for a long time.

But these advantages of organization and preparation are not static, and no plan remains intact after contact with the enemy. Your side makes mistakes, their side makes mistakes; one side that learns the most from your mistakes and their mistakes gains advantages.

Discussions such as this always spawn a hundred different views of what form this civil war will take, which unsurprisingly will give a hundred different answers. I am of the view that an externally funded terror campaign such as the Red Army Brigades is the most likely scenario (that funding coming from everyone from Soros to Iran until they both go broke) - that isn't really much of a war but a lot of people end up getting killed.

Many of the scenarios focus so specifically on the federal government that we tend to forget that the United States has and always has had a perfectly tenable government structure that is not federal at all. If a Tsar Bomba took DC out the result wouldn't be Mad Max, it would be 50 functioning state governments, each of which has its own police force and military. A usurper in the White House can give whatever orders he or she likes; without 50 governors' buy-ins it's only words.

Nor will the U.S. armed forces present an unstoppable force for oppression. There are 1.2 million active duty members, only some of whom would remain loyal to a takeover that will, over time, reveal itself as obviously unconstitutional. There are 21.8 million military veterans, an equal proportion of whom have combat experience as the current active membership. We all took the same oaths.

None of these scenarios is likely. Some aren't even possible. What is likely is small-scale terrorism that may look a little like Kosovo and may look a little like Germany when Baader-Meinhof was active. Large-scale convulsions, not so much - much of this is being driven by people who would stand to lose in the presence of an international economic collapse, not gain. But even if such a collapse occurs, in the overall model all of this still can devolve into state, and even local government. It's a very strong system. Almost as if it were planned that way.

All IMHO, of course.

The Patriot side might have more guns and ammo, but the Left has better organization, sad to say. Right now at least, the Good Guys are a bunch of armed solo individuals, who could be arrested singly in great numbers.

Once upon a time in America, the local militia held monthly musters on the town green. Every qualified citizen of appropriate age was expected to attend, with penalties for failure to do so. Back then we knew our fellow warriors, our local commanders, something about logistics, and had at least a modicum of training in the proper arts.

Now we are a bunch of “Militia of One” types who distrust our neighbors and (I dare say) the sight of two guys with rifles walking down the street could result in “friendly fire” tragedies. And our supplies situation amounts to shelves full of canned goods that we never talk about. (Hungry refugees can go to hell, right?)

The Left is better organized, with better communications, no doubt about it. They can pull off a “flash mob” but we can’t. See the problem?

FYI, my days of standing at attention and marching are long past but I’ll do my part on the logistical side. My little garden is actually a classroom and if the balloon ever goes up, I’ll turn every patch of grass I can find into potato beds and bean fields. Fiercely defended, of course.
