“That whole rant sounds like a leftist... are you sure youre one of us?”
You going to ask me Ty Cobb’s batting average?
LE is an industry. Public safety is no longer their mandate. That’s the case here in Seattle, at least.
Not sure how that makes me leftist. How do we know your not a leftist?
Or you can do it my way: cement mixer truck, bowling balls, concrete blocks, and captured traitor. Mix well.
I like the way you think.

Figured you would, which was why I pinged you. I suggested it in public once and was told that it would be UNCONSTITUTIONAL, since it was cruel and unusual, and violated the recipient's Fifth Amendment rights.
I told the junior college graduate [maybe] involved that he needed to read the part of the 5th Amendment that came after the word *except* (repeated here to save anyone not familiar with it from having to look it up:)
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
As for that little matter of *cruel & unusual* punishment, [which, to me sounds like a GREAT name for either a DC lawfirm, or a heavy-metal rock band] which is in the 8th Amendment and not the 5th, it prohibits cruel and unusual punishments [plural] from being inflicted, and I only wanted to inflict one. Besides, if it's inflicted frequently on multiple deserving individuals, it's no longer *unusual,* right?
Keep on Lurkin' my FRiend!
oh my, that observation screams: 'bumper sticker'
Nah. But what's a Texas Leaguer.
Since the so-called *Million Mom March* I've been working on amassing a one-million-round inventory of small arms [mostly] ammo for Rancho Archy, just as a matter of braggin' rights. Mostly. I've broken the back axle on one good pickup truck in the process, but I've not quite yet reached the eventual goal by my personal 2026 deadline, though I'm close.
A trillion rounds is likely beyond the capability of a single individual to properly amass, categorize and maintain in storage. which suggests a good healthy family or community project.
TRUCK ? ......forklift here .
You still got time.......have at it.
You have the right idea. I had a nice little propane-operated forker when I was more involved in the airplane bizness on a daily basis; handy things for loading and offloading planes and trucks, but also useful for maintenance with engines mounted on high-mounted wings.
I'm not limited to pulling heavy loads with my pickup any more, and have access to one neighbor's M715 5/4 ton pickup, and anothers Deuce-and-a-half. I'm still working on the *effort in progress* though not as intensely as previously. I hate having too many eggs in one basket.
Still upright and breathing, so I've not quit yet. But it's not a terribly high priority just to make a point, though as an investment for the future, it's an idea worth continuing.
