Yes. You dont have to be Christian to know evil when you see it. And I believe Gd never makes a situation where any of his Creation is forced to choose evil.
However, there are people who are truly incapable of deciding their own behavior, and it is up to US, their families and societies, to protect them, and ourselves from them.
Many Christian theologians don’t believe in predestined evil, but in chosen evil that can only be overcome through a long and sometimes agonizing process by faith in divine saving power. And that there is a class of souls who never will accept that power. The choice to hate has to be possible before the choice to love instead is real.
Incidentally the original sin reads like a situation of mutually agreed choosing. Once sin had been mutually chosen, it did not matter whether that sin also destroyed this capability. This gets into things which appear to be echoed by modern sporadic ESP powers.
Seeing it as God forcing people to choose sin would be wrong. Rather, humanity was given a power to mutually choose the foot it would set out on, and that choice went the wrong way.
