Sociopaths tend to be impulsive, violent, with unplanned outbursts.
I think Strozk is more of a psychopath because his actions are carefully planned to manipulate the outcome.
“Psychopaths, in general, have a hard time forming real emotional attachments with others. Instead, they form artificial, shallow relationships designed to be manipulated in a way that most benefits the psychopath. People are seen as pawns to be used to forward the psychopaths goals. Psychopaths rarely feel guilt regarding any of their behaviors, no matter how much they hurt others.”
It will be interesting to see whether Lisa Page feels that she was “used” in more ways than one and desires to strike back. I have no doubt he would throw her or anyone else under the bus without even flinching.
“Strozk is more of a psychopath”
It’s the first thing I thought of watching him.
It’s real clear.
One of Them.
Give the guy the PCL-R test, he’ll go down in flames.
What we actually have is someone who does things while ignoring their conscience.
We have been plagued with leaders who seem to have no conscience - like Hillary, Bill, Obuma and hacks like Strzok.
That is why Trump is so earth-shattering to them. He cuts through the lies and leaves no prisoners.
He had an incredible angry outburst when he justified saying they would stop Trump, based on Trump insulting the Khans. Totally lost control, but claims he doesn’t remember his text. He’s an angry liar.
There are too many unanswered questions about this scandal.
Who first asserted that Page and Strozk were having an affair?
Why do we assume this is true?
What other reason could they have to push that forward?
In something this diabolical and with twisting timelines, to assume this was two FBI employees playing High School election games, may be a mistake.
False assumptions are usually what causes an investigation to veer off onto the wrong path. I don’t trust the FBI, or these two characters to tell me how wet water is at this point.
Either way, he’s a sick man. The lines between the classic psychiatric definitions tend to blur a lot, and however you want to label this guy, he is clearly not driven by integrity or conscience. I would bet that he has manipulated those around him for years and years. I feel sorry for his wife.
I’m not a doctor but Strzok strikes me as a malignant narcissist with delusions of grandeur.
I've met a lot of people in my life. As such, I'm a pretty good read. But Trump has me aced by orders of magnitude. So, what do you think his initial reaction(s) were being exposed to The Stroke, either directly or indirectly?
I'm thinking Trump is thinking that if there was ever a poster child to a put a public face on the evil nature of those who planned treason against the people of the USA, one would be hard pressed to find anyone more viscerally frightening than Stroke.
On a side note, I'm a bit disappointed we're not already seeing Freddy Krueger type Stroker Halloween masks. I know it's a bit early, but sharp operators usually have hot items out within 48 hours.
Jeez, could you imagine walking into a party with that demonic face? The children would run screaming. And thus, we see how fairy tales develop over the ages. How many psychopaths like Stroke visit their evil on each generation?
You hit on something that should be used for a Free Republic open debate.
Pit Hillary, then Obama, then Bill, then Mueller and so on against the two possibilities: sociopath or psychopath.
Let FReepers decide.
