I must have missed the memo, I didn't wear the black and white yesterday. They are the primary colors in my wardrobe, however.
I can't say that I love every single thing that Mrs. Trump wears, but I don't obsess over it, either. She definitely knows how to dress and has the means to wear what she wants. I don't think she “channels” anybody.
As for Mrs. Obama, I would suggest that she find someone who can help her find the styles that look best ON HER and stick to those. I suspect that her stylists, if she has them, are like the “fashion media” and fawn over her, whatever she chooses to wear, no matter how it looks. (You look gorgeous! Not, you look like you're wearing your grandma's tablecloth).
I don't think that she has a sense of style, at all, and she needs someone who will be honest with her to help her develop that (or at least a system for choosing outfits that won't look hideous).
