You made some mistakes in your sentence. "Leave" is spelled "L-e-a-ve", not "g-i-v-e", "me" should be "my" and "your" should be omitted." Hmmm, the sentence looks correct and accurate to me, your opinion to the contrary notwithstanding.

Yes, my sentence is correct. That’s how you are supposed to do it. Phrasing it the way you did made no sense at all, because the “guests” who wouldn’t leave were in someone else’s house.
