We’re gonna base camp out of Calais, ME (family & friends there). From there, we plan on taking Rte 1 all the way to Acadia Natl. Park, then on down to Portland/OOB area. Both Ellsworth and Bar Harbor are on our route going down to OOB.
On the return from Nova Scotia, We’ ll be coming back across New Brunswick, crossing the border in Calais, ME to our base camp.
If you are in the Annapolis Bay area try the Digby Inn. Digby NS is famous for giant sweet scallops.
