The Justice Departments Office of the Inspector General is rarely in the spotlight. But a highly anticipated report by the departments internal watchdog will finally be released this week, ending a nearly 18-month investigation into whether the FBI acted improperly in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election. The inspector general, Michael Horowitzcommonly referred to as the DOJs internal watchdogannounced in January 2017 that his office would examine allegations of misconduct surrounding former FBI Director James Comeys handling of the probe into Hillary Clintons private email server. The news was welcomed by both Democratswho felt that Comey had shattered Clintons chances of winning the election by effectively reopening the email probe just days before the electionand by Republicans, who felt that Comey, after deciding not to charge Clinton with a crime, had let her off easy. President Trump, who frequently attacks the FBI and DOJ for investigating his campaign teams ties to Russia, has also taken an interest in Horowitzs forthcoming report: What is taking so long with the Inspector Generals Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey, Trump wrote in a tweet last week. Numerous delays...Hope Report is not being changed and made weaker! There are so many horrible things to tell, the public has the right to know. Transparency! It is not clear where Trump got the idea that Horowitz, known as an even-handed professional among current and former Justice Department employees, would deliberately weaken the report. Horowitz served as a prosecutor in the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and in the Justice Departments criminal division, and was appointed to the inspector generals job in 2012 by former President Barack Obama.

WAY too much Tick-Tock.
Yeomans predicted that Congress would likely be all over this report to exploit its criticism of Comey. But, he added, what should never be lost in the responses is that Comeys errors in handling the Clinton investigation all helped Trump.
Liberal whitewash. No mention of John Huber’s criminal investigation and how he’s working with Horowitz. “Trump attacks the FBI...” oh, gee! But when Dems and the media ATTACK the FBI for nailing the Senate Intel committee’s go-to leaker, that’s ok.
The press in this country is a disgrace.
It's that simple.
The FBI is totally corrupted and should be disbanded.
The continuing decline in credibility of media ass****s puzzles analysts.
This week. Next week. The clock keeps ticking and nothing appears. Delays gives time for more lies to be constructed.
Along with some naive statements, purposeful or otherwise wondering how the report could ever possibly be watered down? first with a statement by the President:
"....What is taking so long with the Inspector Generals Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey, Trump wrote in a tweet last week. Numerous delays...Hope Report is not being changed and made weaker! There are so many horrible things to tell, the public has the right to know. Transparency!
It is not clear where Trump got the idea that Horowitz, known as an even-handed professional among current and former Justice Department employees, would deliberately weaken the report...."
DOJ and FBI has first crack at the report! That is who well might water down the conclusions or redact sizable parts of it to avoid embarrassment over their corrupt practices!
Looks like classic libtard reporting by the Atlantic I think?
It is not clear where Trump got the idea that Horowitz, known as an even-handed professional among current and former Justice Department employees, would deliberately weaken the report.

Maybe, just maybe, from the fact that this same IG found nothing criminal in running guns to Mexican cartels.......
During WWI, it didn't matter if you were in the German, Russian, British, French or Italian army. If you didn't go over the top when the whistle was blown, an officer was authorized to summarily execute you on the spot.

Once people are finally fully cognizant of what is required from the enemy side, then it's easier to understand and analyze the select pieces they choose to introduce into the body politic.
Socialism's ultimate goal is to defeat individual liberty and freedom of choice. That means destroy the family, destroy capitalism and private property, and destroy cultural institutions. If you view everything that is emitted from the enemy through this prism, then you can clearly see how each story is framed to satisfy their prime directive.
It would help if patriots were more aware, and responded in a measured way, rather than react - as intended - to purposeful propaganda specifically and intentionally published to elicit emotional responses.
In related but unreported news, the press is eagerly awaiting the release of Mike Hagen’s report on his investigation into the alleged criminal activities of the Corleone Family.
Okay, so Horowitz is "even handed", Mueller is "ramrod straight" and Sessions is the "silent executioner". Do I have my Deep State talking points correct?
"Sit back and enjoy the show", everybody.
The real question in my mind is how many disciplinary actions and how many criminal investigations of FBI & DOJ are going to be recommended by the IG versus how many policy changes or training requirements.
What’s holding it up? We’re waiting.
Horowitz, a soetoro appointee let barry and holder skate on Fast & Furious.
