Comedian Roseanne Barr has apologised for a tweet comparing ex-Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, who is African American, to an ape.
She sparked an online backlash after she called Mrs Jarrett the child of the Islamist group the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes film.
She deleted the racist post and apologised amid criticism of her and the ABC network, which airs her show.

Other than being born there, no. She's not Iranian. Not in the least. She is the light-skinned black child of two light-skinned black parents.
One website compared her to Rasputin.
Makes sense. Social commentary was Rod Serlings jam.
Are sure at least one of them isn’t a Reptilian? :-)
I always figured that she was the conduit through which he receives his orders.
Never complain and never explain.
There are all kinds of speech, bad and good. But then you have one group of people putting themselves up as the arbiter of which is which then we have all manner of problems.
ABC to curt their noses to spite themselves canceled their highest rated comedy show, one they desperately need on the program schedule because of PC and their own stupidity.
I will not be surprised if someone, even Netflix picks up the show.
Comparing ValJar to an ape is an insult to intelligent lesser and great apes everywhere!
She’s evil, the apes aren’t.

Remember when the libs compared GW Bush to a chimpanzee? There was no “outrage” from media about that. The old-monkey to man descendancy argument does not discriminate at to race, but apparently the “blacks” identify with the use of their color to give emphasis to the bigotted comments.
Think you know the answer to your question, a complete double standard.
Just a bunch of hypocrites who like killing OUR free speech.
Not that I would have said what Roseanne said, not out loud at least. TEE HEE
I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.

I apologize. I am now leaving Twitter.
I’ve never dared to ask, would anyone care to explain exactly why it is racist to compare someone of one certain race to apes but not any other races? All I know is it’s racist but I don’t know why.
Not the first Planet of the Apes so called joke about apes and blacks—Why was so many black actors in the movie-—to save money on make up.
