Seems I recall you have fairly adventurous musical tastes from the weekly Canteen threads. If so, you might find it worth the drive into beautiful but wacky Asheville to tour the Moog headquarters and factory downtown. They have a sound lab and bring in national acts who use their analog synths and theremins. Might as well hit the Biltmore House on the way, admission has gotten sort of pricey but well worth it, once. Asheville is a sort of world unto itself, a lot of literary history, Roaring 20’s architecture from Beaux-arts through Art Nouveau and Craftsman to Art Deco. Gargoyles, the place is infested with them.
