Shiloh will take almost an entire day. Its 80 miles from Memphis and not in the direct line from Memphis to Nashville. I live fifteen miles from the battlefield. The entire area is laced with CW battlefields...Hatchie Bridge, Britton’s Lane, Parker's Crossroads, Corinth, Iuka, Farmington, and Middleburg to just name a few.

The Rock and Soul Museum next to the Gibson Guitar factory is an excellent place to visit. Sun Studio takes about ten minutes.

That is very helpful, actually, and the kind of little tidbits that are needed.

I still think that 'The Sun Sessions' is some of Elvis best work and it is a must see, for me. To be honest, I figured about an hour was enough. I guess I overestimated.
