> Science is NEVER SETTLED. <
That needs to be repeated, over and over again. And taught in every school, over and over again.
Aristotle’s science was once “settled science”. Then Newton showed that much of Aristotle’s work was wrong.
Newton’s science was once “settled science”. Then Einstein showed that much of Newton’s work was wrong.
The really sad (and scary) thing here is that we are going back to the Dark Ages, when challenging “settled science” was more than just discouraged. It was illegal. As just one example of that, Galileo was sentenced to house arrest for daring to say that Aristotle was wrong about gravity.
“The Science Inquisition.”
And just who turned Galileo over to the inquisition?...His scientist peers, that's who. And let that be a lesson to you, this is what happens when you dare to go against consensus!
