Don’t you see, V K, that was the beauty of not seeing her.
She can be anyone you want her to be. Do you know someone who is as self-centered, selfish, unloving and always worried about weight. Can one be any more detached from the world. She did, however, have style and grace.
You and I have a better chance of meeting.
I think it’s fun to imagine.
You’re correct, of course, but that doesn’t lessen the disappointment. It was a hoot the ways she made it into the episode unseen, yet always there. :-)
The writers were the best in the business. The jabs thrown, the closeness of the ‘family members’, how they worked through their differences and were always there for the other. Though some needed more time to eventually make their move toward middle ground. The last episode attempted closure yet still left us to fantasize as to the characters moving on in years to come. Reboot Frasier? It’ll never happen. Especially that John Mahoney is gone. Perhaps it’s best that they don’t. Why tinker with perfection? :-/
