Disappointment should be with the Republican leaders they showed themselves to be totally in the pocket of open border lobbyists. Ryan and McConnel are bad guys. But don’t discount the president’s funding of the military, which is vital.
I agree, by screwing around till the last hours, they made it impossible to veto, and they knew it. Can you imagine the headlines today if he had “Trump with the stroke of his pen shuts down the entire US Government”
He needs to yank all these idiots in leadership positions, Dem and Rep into his office for a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting.

Elected to their positions and supported by many other bad guys. They fact is they wouldn’t be there if the Repukes had an ounce of conviction in them.
And Trump put his stamp of approval on what Ryan and McConnell gave him. Trump had his team working with congress on the bill. The day before it hit Trumps desk, Pence was praising it.
