.....he didn't even try to stop this bill.

One of the reasons we voted for him was to TO STOP THE SPENDING

He didn't even try.

There wasn't even a compromise here.

He just rolled over and died.

>He just rolled over and died.

Looking at the house and senate votes, Ryan and McTurtle made sure there already exceeded the veto override margins.

I’m all for the fighting but a veto guaranteed to blow back in his face would’ve done what for you?

As the last poster before I type this wrote, this is a POS no matter how we polish it, but I’m not seeing how Trump could’ve stopped it inside the confines of the Constitution.

If there’s any consolation, even the market hates this one, so it’s not like the 1% are partying tonight; only deep state scum.

Not me. I voted for him because he is not Hillary Clinton. I have been surprised and pleased at what he has been able to accomplish, so far, and my guess is that he isn't done doing good and MAGA. So, if President Trump finds it politically expedient to sign a bad bill, I'm not really upset. Since this is only a six-month bill, we'll see soon if this is a pattern for the President or whether he will do better on spending in the fall.
