Just my personal request to the FReeper community that we stop posting You Tube videos on here if we can at all avoid it.
You Tube hates us and is one of several leftist media outlets that's currently engaged in trying to silence us and deny us a means to organize.
We should not be helping them add to their advertising revenue if we can at all avoid it.

About a month ago I had major surgery done. I watched the same surgery done by the same Doctor as mine and it was very helpful to me in relieving the apprehension involved with the operation. All this on Utube.

I appreciate your point Megan, but I can’t agree. Conservatives need to apply pressure to YouTube, not throw our hands up and leave it all to the Progressive/Communists.
I’m curious if you have “cut the cord” to your cable company? If you’re paying for bundled cable channels you are subsidizing CNN, MSNBC and ESPN. I think telling the cable companies to go to hell until they give us the option to choose which channels we want to fund would accomplish a lot more than boycotting YouTube.
Maybe 50+ years of the conservative attitude of discouraging anyone or anything to do with media, visual arts, or arts or filmmaking general. Maybe that had some kind of lasting effect on the culture ?
When I see your handle on the list of the 300 Club, then you can talk about what “we” are doing here on the FreeRepublic.com.
Besides, who the heck has time to watch all those videos.

Well we could quit posting YouTube videos here.
Then we would miss seeing RightSide Broadcasting who covers all of President Trump’s speeches and rallies.
We would miss listening to Jerome Corsi dissecting Q.
We wouldn’t be able to watch Sean Hannity except on Fox at the time he was on. Or Lou Dobbs.
We’d miss easily watching Sarah Huckabee and her press briefings.
Etc, etc.
We could ban NYTimes, Washington Post and other media outlets because they are all liberal.
We could just cut out all news except that of confirmed conservatives on websites that have no liberal advertising and no presence on YouTube or Facebook or Twitter.
I hate having to visit You Tube. I also hate having to use and/or read posts on Facebook, which I do not do, or use Google search which I do not do. There are alternatives to Facebook and Google search.

People who are asking about an alternative to You Tube:
I have downloaded videos from You Tube then uploaded them to my site then post them as if they are on my site in addition to having a much prettier player. ;-)
That makes one person have to go to You Tube to download the video.
Everyone else would NOT be visiting You Tube but simply visiting someone else’s site.
I am open to do that as long as it does not become excessive.

Well, that works out all for the good. With Adblocker, I don't see the ads. If YouTube bills the advertiser, then the advertiser is losing money because they're not getting any hits from their advert, because I don't see it. Eventually, the advertiser gets the point that they're losing money by advertising on YouTube.
If the poster gets paid .. and I'm not seeing any advertising on the page .. then that's money that YouTube is spending as well.
Both the advertiser and YouTube are spending money out ...

I never said I wanted to ban or totally boycott You Tube:

Hurting their revenue stream is the most powerful message we can send to them.
