My dad grew up in Chicago. Years ago, he told me I would never survive a stroll through his old neighborhood. I can’t imagine how bad it is now.
My dad grew up at 22nd and Pulaski. A while back he said let’s take a drive through the old neighborhood. And what do we see? Bunch of guys sitting on porches with their Colt 45 and shower caps on. Homes and stores with iron bars on their windows . The neighborhood changed quite a bit. Even my dad told us to roll up the windows.
