Alcohol cut a wide swath through my family but this article was dreadful——almost amateurish.

It’s why it’s called abuse. Some are driven to drink ruinously. Others sense how much is enough and stop before it’s too much.
I lost someone to alcohol, is was dreadful. I tried to transition them to GHB {GAMMA-HYDROXYBUTYRATE) _ cut it down to where it was the same strength as strong wine, 12proof or so.
She loved it and her liver enzymes took a turn for the best. She was back at work, and her friends were so happy for her.
She started dating again and became pregnant.
At about 5mos into the pregnancy GHB was placed on the drug schedule and remover from the shelves.
A few month later she was dead, the baby was so frail and sick... I stayed with it constantly, the little angel died in my arms late one night.
I was never able to enter that hospital again. I will never be quite the same.
