I used to acid reflux....bad.
Always slept on my left side to try and avoid it.
Lived on Prilosec daily to keep it under control.
Then, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and have to use a CPAP machine.
My acid reflux went away!! No more Prilosec needed. The CPAP machine kept the air passage open with positive pressure rather than a vacuum which is what was drawing the acid up. I no longer regurgitated stomach acid.
CPAP machine can be a kind of a pain in the butt at times, but the positive benefits have far out-weighed the “pain in the butt” side of it.
