Back pain is a common problem. According to the World Health Organization, various diseases of the musculoskeletal system affect almost 80 percent of the population. Here is how your sleeping position can change your back pain. Everyone at least once in their life has dealt with back pain.
"Computers, office work, and other joys of modern society affect human health, says neuroscientist Matthew Walker, director of the Center for Science of Human Sleep at the University of California at Berkeley.
But there is another reason for back pain, which few people have thought of...

Prilosec is Omeprazole. You can buy generic Omeprazole over the counter for a lot less compared to Prilosec.
Zantac is Rantidine. Same thing. You can buy generic Rantidine for less than the cost of Zantac.
Prilosec 42-count at Walgreens: $24.99 = .60 each
Omeprazole 42-count: $18.99 = .45 each
Zantac 65-count: $22.99 = .35 each
Rantidine 65-count: $17.99 = .28 each
Often, Hy-Vee or Walgreens will have 200-count bottles of Rantidine sale priced for about the same price as the 65-count bottle.
I know this because I also have to take both every day.
Thanx pete
Side sleeper. Both sides..switch during the night
My 90 day supply of Ranitidine cost me my copay of $30, so 360 pills for 8 cents each.
I have to take my acid reflux meds a half-hour before I eat. I only eat two meals a day so I take one before breakfast, and the second one before supper. I also have a hiatal hernia, which thankfully hasn't been bothering me. I don't drink citrus juices, and try to chew my food well so that I'm not swallowing large pieces of food. Getting old sucks.
One of my doctors told me those studies are not correct. YMMV
My aunt (age 70 now) had acid reflux for years, and a hiatal hernia that used to make her wake up choking on regurgitated stomach contents. Then she got a bad case of flu, lost 25 pounds or so over a couple of months...and suddenly didn’t need antacids anymore. Then maybe a year later she noticed the hh wasn’t so bad and she could eat solid food again. She swears by simple stretching exercises and maintaining a normal weight.
It’s probably smart not to eat before bedtime, too. Don’t smoke. (She quit that because of the flu.)
Great deal!
So true
Eat healthy and excercise
Me I’m into basic foods. It reduces acid
Also for the back
Nothing beats hanging upside down or a slant table daily
Helps immensely
OMG! “esophageal spasms I sometimes get when swallowing. Those arent fun, believe me.”
If they are like what happens to me .. HORRIBLE. Soo painful, and alarming. Can’t really swallow during one.
My last endoscopy showed my Barretts was smaller. I didn’t even know that could happen. Just get regular blood tests. They did put me on a B12 supplement. I highly recommend!
lmao
omg but when it goes away what a high
Well it is kinda offensive. I eat healthy and exercise. Thank you. My digestive system is broke. It wasn’t my fault and I can’t fix it by simply being a better person.
LOL! Pooch prolly squeaks out a few vapors as well.
“CPAP machine can be a kind of a pain in the butt at times,”
Are you sure you are wearing it on the right end?
Traction. It saved me from debilitating pain with no need for meds.
“...Are you sure you are wearing it on the right end?....”
LMAO!!! Yeah.
Figure of speech, my FR friend....figure of speech.
