Apparently, in Spanish, EU —> USA.

Plus they seem to like to double up on the letters in the abbreviation. Who knew?

I say Keep It South Of The Border....(and I’m not talking about Pedro’s either...).

United States is Estados Unidos in Spanish. When a word is plural, the Spanish abbreviation is a double letter. So Estados Unidos, being two plural words, is not EU, but EEUU.
