Mark Levin pointed out: there’s no Russia investigation. There is only a Donald Trump investigation. Gowdy persists in trying to make Mueller a good guy and his investigation reasonable, by pretending it’s all about Russian interference in the election and of course we need to investigate that.

Gowdy is a big hat but no cattle, when you get down to it.
On the other hand, Gowdy is the only Congress Critter or person to have seen and read all of the material. What that means is unknown.
Is there some other angle that no one’s has mentioned aimed at DJT? Or is this other Russia investigation aimed at Camp Hillary and Outpost Zero?
What is plain is that ones doing all the laughing are the Russians at the Democrats for having disrupted, distracted, and otherwise belittled a sitting POTUS, his agenda, and his policies.

I get the sense that Gowdy is thinking in a narrower, legal sense as a lawyer would. HOWEVER, this Russia thing is a giant political assault on Trump and his legitimacy - we DON'T NEED any quaint, legally-correct commentary from our side. We need political warriors that will take this crap head-on!!!
Correct. Rosenstein’s memo assigning Mueller the job of IC arguably can be construed to allow a broad inquiry in to just Russian interference (without collusion). But Mueller was clearly assigned the job of looking into collusion.
The staff he has hired does not suggest that he is looking into Russian interference generally. As another Freeper pointed out, he did not hire spooks, he hired prosecutors.
