as far as a threat to humans I’d worry about a opposum more.

What should we be worried about opposums?

I'm a suburban boy here who had to have an opossum removed from my house that's 1/2 mile from the Pentagon. The fat bastard took to sitting on my back fence and my dogs were freaking out. My back neighbor, who leaves raw meat out in her yard for her cats, said "he's cute."

The trapper told me they can carry T.B. and some other nasty diseases, but not rabies. My worry is for my dogs.

Point is I wouldn’t worry about coyotes attacking humans very much.
