Perhaps. Am totally an ENTJ.
I’m a guy who always WANTED to be in the ‘elite’, the ivory tower, write at a PhD level... Instead I had to slap welding rod and roof tile around.... The old man had a stroke when I was 6 so always had to work AND do school.
I think Scott Adams makes a lot of good points about how Trump’s ‘style’ is so effective. I don’t have to *like* it, it’s the results that matter. I was in for Carson in the primaries, personally.
Many Americans are/were very taken with the posh English accent and so, assumed that those who talked that way were always brilliant, insightful, and/or intelligent and so, rather than actually hearing what they said, ONLY heard/hear the accent. I don't know if it is still true, or not, but I'm guessing that it is. And sadly, you've fallen for the American version of that and need to give that idea up!
Time was when only actors and actresses and then radio, followed by T.V. people had VOICE COACHES! No, not ALL of them, but it was done so that the audiences would look up to them.
Pols didn't bother with such things, long ago, but more and more recently, many HAVE either had voice coaches, or been "TRAINED" by their handlers.
And it isn't just American pols....Margaret Thatcher got herself a voice coach, but THAT had much more to do with wanting to rise in p0osition and the fact that she was often put down, early on, because 1) she was only a "groucer's daughter" and the Brits were and still are BIG SNOBS and elitists!
I don’t know what personality style I am but I was for Cruz until he blamed Trump for the violence at his Chicago rally. Dropped him like a hot potato and joined the Trump Train immediately. So I was looking for someone a lot like the profile you gave but that PC appeasement done for political gain told me Cruz lacked strength and moral certitude. Something Trump has in spades.
