Martha knows her stuff. Up from a working-class Polish family with, indeed, a killer style. Stock broker turned lifestyle guru who stole her husband’s name to increase her credibility with the phony, posh world of Manhattan.

Only a tough broad could survive what happened to her several years ago. I’ll never forget her standing on the courtroom steps - moments before she was being whisked to jail - asking people to buy stock in her company! I still remember Rush expressing admiration for her moxie.

Whatever complaints one might have against Martha, she is incredibly accomplished.

While in prison, she was giving moral support to her fellow inmates.

She was NOT a "broker"; she was a "honeypot" who had "meetings"/lunches with men that real BROKERS then got the accounts to handle.

Tough? YES!

Good baker?

Maybe.

But she "STOLE" a lot of "her" recipes and her recipe for Yorkshire Pudding is not only utter CRAP, but if one was stupid enough to try to use it, would just make a sloppy, greyish lump of goo.
