The signs of a new Iranian spring are there. Fed up with the corruption of the current Iranian regime- one firmly supported by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama- the Iranian people are protesting in large numbers.
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — A wave of spontaneous protests over Iran’s weak economy swept into Tehran on Saturday, with college students and others chanting against the government just hours after hard-liners held their own rally in support of the Islamic Republic’s clerical establishment.The spark for the protests seems to be high food prices.The demonstrations appear to be the largest to strike the Islamic Republic since the protests that followed the country’s disputed 2009 presidential election.
Thousands already have taken to the streets of cities across Iran, beginning at first on Thursday in Mashhad, the country’s second-largest city and a holy site for Shiite pilgrims.

Iranians are wondering where the billions obama gave to Iran are:

Nor did it stop her from meddling in Russia's election in 2011.

Obama didn’t ignore the protests of 2009. While the government was shooting people, Obama supported the government.
I can’t believe anyone would be such a credulous globalist as to use the phrase “Iranian spring” unironically. But here it is.

Valerie Jarett is no longer establishing America’s Iran policy. Twice she bailed out the mullahs. During the 2009 protests when Obama went on his apology tour, it actually convinced some Iranians that reform within their own country was possible. They bled badly when the US refused to take even per functionary actions at the UN much less the tightening of sanctions that the situation required. Again in 2014 the “nuclear deal” which acquiesced to Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, the relief of even porous sanctions and the actual deliverance of cash in small denominations of hard currency again saved the mullahs. In the end however the reactionary, medieval mullah regime is not sustainable. It is a futile attempt by bewildered Islamists to deal with the institutions, values and practices that constitute modernity. Iran’s Islamic culture cannot cope with this challenge. Its people want Western modernity. The mullahs in the modern technological era cannot keep it out, nor do they have an effective alternative except coercion, repression and corruption. The US need only to stand back, keep an eye on their nuclear capabilities and allow the regime to collapse and the country to transform.

There are probably enough US and allied assets on the ground in Iran to act as a multiplying force, if they carry out a large number of acts of sabotage.
The idea would be to make the government look ineffective and incompetent. But there could also be sabotage of things that matter.
Oddly enough, Iran has a lot of water dams, some quite large, and which produce a lot of hydroelectric energy. Were one of these to fail, it might seriously harm their economy.
No, but he should acknowledge that the Iranian people deserve to choose their own destiny. Obama snubbed the people and sided with the government that was holding them down.
